10.3 Seal the Gauge

The procedure to seal the gauge is as follows:

  1. Send the Control() command 0x0020 (send 0x0020 to 0x00/0x01).
  2. Wait 200 ms.
  3. Read the CONTROL_STATUS register and verify that the [FAS] and [SS] bits are set, indicating that the battery is in the SEALED state. If either the [FAS] or the [SS] bit is cleared, return to Step 1.
  4. Retry three times before stopping the sequence.
