SLUUCK6A December 2021 – February 2022 TPSM8D6C24
The TPSM8D6C24 leaves the factory pre-configured. The factory default settings for the parameters can be found in the data sheet. If configuring the EVM to settings other than the factory defaults, use the software described in Section 4.1. It is necessary to have the input voltage applied to the EVM prior to launching the software so that the TPSM8D6C24 can respond to the GUI and the GUI can recognize the device. The default configuration for the EVM to stop converting is set by the EN/UVLO resistor divider to a nominal input voltage of 3.5 V, therefore, if it is necessary to avoid any converter activity during configuration, an input voltage less than 3.5 V should be applied. TI recommends an input voltage of 3.3 V.
