There are a few ways to set the output voltage. First, jumper J6 can be used to select between the options shown in Table 2-1 for output voltages greater than 1.0 V. If the desired output voltage is not available, a resistor must be changed. For output voltages less than 1.0 V, TI recommends shorting pins 1 and 2 and decreasing R14. The desired value for R14 can be calculated with Equation 2, where RFBB is R16 which is 10 kΩ.
JUMPER J6 SETTING | SELECTED BOTTOM FB RESISTOR (RFBB) | NOMINAL OUTPUT VOLTAGE |
---|---|---|
1 to 2 pin shorted(1) | 10 kΩ | 1.0 V |
3 to 4 pin shorted | 7.15 kΩ | 1.2V |
5 to 6 pin shorted | 3.9 kΩ | 1.80 V |
7 to 8 pin shorted | 1.78 kΩ | 3.3 V |
9 to 10 pin shorted | 1.10 kΩ | 5.0 V |
11 to 12 pin shorted | 768 Ω | 7.0 V |
