Slow-Start Time

The slow-start time can be adjusted by changing the value of C7 or C8 for VOUT1 or VOUT2. Use Equation 3 or Equation 4 to calculate the required value of C7 or C8 for desired slow-start times.

Equation 3. GUID-778CA962-1DEC-42A0-BD50-A2DCCE908C7D-low.gif
or
Equation 4. GUID-3996D6FB-4888-47D0-A40B-3055E5C6C2DB-low.gif

The EVM is set for a slow-start time of 1 ms using C7 = C8 = 10 nF.
