Quick Start

Refer to the connections depicted in Figure 3-1 for a visual guide on powering up the EVM.

1. Connect the input voltage supply between VIN_EMI and GND (J1) terminals using short thick wires.

2. Connect the output load of the converter between VOUT and GND (J3) terminals using short thick wires.

3. Set the input voltage (VIN) at the appropriate level between 5.5-V to 36-V.

4. Set the current limit of the input supply to an appropriate level depending on the connected output load.

5. Ensure the device is set to ENABLE ON by having the EN pin floating.

6. Turn on the power supply. The default configuration of the EVM must power up to VOUT = 5-V.

7. Monitor the output voltage. The maximum rated load current is 5-A.
