The processor family supports the
below voltage monitors:
- VMON_VSYS (Recommend
provisioning the external resistor voltage divider for early supply failure
detection irrespective of the software implementation): For connecting the
board voltage (main supply voltage such as 5V or other voltage levels)
through an external resistor voltage divider, refer the System Power
Supply Monitor Design Guidelines section of the device-specific data
sheet. Recommendation is to implement a noise filter (capacitor) across the
resistor voltage divider output since VMON_VSYS has minimum hysteresis and a
high-bandwidth response to transients. Recommendation is to always provide
resistor divider provision for early detection.
- VMON_1P8_SOC and VMON_3P3_SOC
(Monitoring): These pins are recommended to be connected directly to the
respective 1.8V and 3.3V supplies. For the allowed supply voltage range,
refer the Recommended Operating Conditions section of the
device-specific data sheet.
