If the time required to ramp-up is extended, users should also consider setting a slower ramp-up acceleration to allow a smoother ramp. For example, for high inertia loads such as direct drive washing machines, the ramp up time can be extended to allow a smoother ramp up, as can be seen in Figure 7-58.
