In non-inverting mode, the input voltage signal is applied directly to the non-inverting pin PGA_INP and generates an amplified output signal that is proportional and in phase with the input signal. The block diagram of PGA in this mode is illustrated in Figure 18-4. Feedback control of the non-inverting operational amplifier is achieved by applying a small part of the output voltage signal back to the inverting input terminal by way of a voltage divider network Ria – Rib.
