If current monitoring is desired, the IMON pin on the TPS92691-Q1 can be read by an ADC of the MCU and then the device can be shut off when a fault is detected. The IMON pin represents 14 times the voltage V CSP-CSN. If the TPS92691-Q1 is not interfaced with an MCU for overcurrent protection, there is a discrete way to enable this feature.
