2.3.8 Generating I/O Supply

The I/O supply selected is the same as RX-SUP (2.1 V) through R28 (0Ω). There is an option to mount an LDO at position U18 though.

Note:

U18 is currently not mounted on the TIDA-01580 board. The user can mount U18 if IO_SUP must be different than 2.1 V. LDOs with low drop-out voltages (for example, < 300 mV) have higher quiescent currents – which may affect the battery operating time.
