The fundamental concept of this design is the conversion of current through ZX into a voltage using an amplification factor of RF. The output of amplifier A2 is given in Equation 1
If RF is known then Zx can be estimated using Equation 1. Figure 2-2 illustrates this architecture.
In this method, multiple values of RF can be used for multiple ranges of impedance, as shown in Figure 2-6. This approach of using multiple RF values improves the accuracy.
