Design Description

This low-side voltage-to-current (V-I) converter delivers a well-regulated current to the HVIL load. The circuit uses a resistor divider to step down the 5V supply voltage generated by the TPA7B69-Q1 and converts this voltage to a current of 10mA. The current is accurately regulated by feeding back the voltage drop across a low-side current-sense resistor (R5) to the op amp. This current is independent of the load resistance or load supply voltage and can be modified to another desired current level by following the Design Steps.
