2.4 Other Items Needed for Operation

The DLP LightCrafter Dual DLPC900 EVM is a flexible, ready-to-use evaluation module which, when coupled to one of the supported DLP LightCrafter Dual Controller DMD EVMs, enables the sending of customer created patterns from the DLPC900 Controllers to the attached DMD for display at the customer determined pattern rates. The DLP LightCrafter Dual DLPC900 EVM and supported DMD EVMs are offered for purchase separately so that users can determine which elements to piece together for an application evaluation system.

The following items are not included with the EVM and need to be purchased separately if needed for customer evaluation:

  • Power supply - see Section 6.1 External Power Supply Requirements for details
  • USB cable: Type A to Type B USB cable
  • HDMI® or DisplayPort™ cable connected to a graphics or video source (if using video input)
  • Illumination module or source
  • Illumination and projection optics
