Conclusion

All of the capabilities discussed in this white paper are achievable with a single sensor – the TMAG5170. This linear 3D Hall-effect position sensor has high accuracy at high speeds, can be optimized for power consumption, can potentially eliminate the need for system-level calibration, is flexible enough for many applications and requirements, and has diagnostic features for the most demanding environments. Compared to other sensing technologies that produce saturation, hysteresis or cross-axis sensitivity, the highly-integrated TMAG5170 enables simplified electromechanical systems in numerous end-applications.
