9.5.5.6 RDATA Command

This command reads conversion data. Because the data are buffered, the data can be read at any time during the conversion sequence. If data are read near the completion of the conversion phase, old or new conversion data are returned. See the Data Ready (DRDY) section for details.

The response data of the ADC varies in length depending on inclusion of the optional STATUS0 byte. See the Conversion Data Format section for details of the format of the conversion data. Table 21 and Figure 81 describe the RDATA command byte sequence that includes the STATUS0 byte.
