8.4.1.3 Reset by Command

Reset the ADC by using the RESET command (06h or 07h). No delay time is required after the RESET command is latched before starting to communicate with the device as long as the timing requirements (see the I2C Timing Requirements table) for the (repeated) START and STOP conditions are met. Alternatively, the device also responds to the I2C general-call software reset.
