8.1 Application Information

The PCM1840 is a multichannel, high-performance audio analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that supports output sample rates of up to 192 kHz. The device supports up to four analog microphones for simultaneous recording applications.

The PCM1840 configuration is supported using various hardware pin control options. The device supports a highly flexible, audio serial interface (TDM, I2S, and LJ) to transmit audio data seamlessly in the system across devices.
