PRODUCTION DATA
CS is an active-low input that enables the interface for communication. The communication frame is started by taking CS low and is ended by taking CS high. When CS is taken high, the device ends the frame by interpreting the last 16 bits of input data (24 bits in CRC mode) regardless of the total number of bits shifted in. When CS is high, the SPI interface resets, commands are blocked, and SDO/DRDY enters a high-impedance state. DRDY is an active output regardless of the state of CS. Tie CS low to operate the interface in 3-wire SPI mode.
