6.2 Configuring the INA226EVM Software

The INA226EVM software first requires a series of setup processes to configure the device and ensure that it works properly. On the Configuration tab (see Figure 6-1), there are six steps noted:

  1. Set I2C Address
  2. Configure Operation
  3. Set Conversion Times
  4. Select Configuration Method
  5. Set Configuration Register
  6. Configure Alert Pin

This section explains how to configure the software and reviews some of the different setups that can be done.
