The attack rate is the step rate response when the Distortion Limiter triggers a gain decrease. The settling time of the signal is faster as this rate increases. This threshold is controlled by the coefficient YRAM_ATTACK_COEFFI_LIM. Equation 5 shows how to compute the parameters from the desired attenuation rate in dB/step. The threshold range is from -6dB/step to 0dB/step and can be programmed in steps of 1x10^-6dB, where AR is the attenuation rate of the output signal in dB/step.
Table 3-6 lists the registers corresponding to YRAM_ATTACK_COEFFI_LIM. The default value (0x78D6FC9F) corresponds to -0.5dB/step.
