2.7 Clocking

The MSPM0G3507 provides external clocks in addition to the internal clocks in the device.

  • Y1: 32.768kHz 12.5pF crystal
  • Y2: 40MHz 12.5pF crystal

The internal SYSOSC is 32 MHz by default at an accuracy of 2.5%. For higher accuracy, connect a 0.1% resistor at ROSC pin. The MCLK is sourced by 32MHz SYSOSC at default. CPUCLK is sourced directly from MCLK in RUN mode and disabled in other modes. The low-power clock (ULPCLK) can be sourced by MCLK and active in RUN and SLEEP mode by configuration.
