1.4.2 Boot Configuration Routine (BCR)

The boot configuration routine is the first firmware to run on the device after a BOOTRST. The BCR manages the following at boot time:

  • Configuring the debug interface security policy
  • Optionally executing a mass erase
  • Optionally executing a factory reset
  • Configuring the flash memory static write protection policy
