When the device enters standby mode, a watchdog trigger is expected within the first long window, tINITWD, which is typically 150 ms. When entering standby mode from restart mode, there is a nRST transition from low to high. This transition starts the tINITWD timer. After this initial long window, the watchdog expects the trigger event to take place as programmed which could be window or timeout. See Figure 6-7 for state diagrams on how the WD behaves when watchdog is enabled in standby mode.
