Application Information

The TUSB1044 is a linear redriver designed specifically to compensate for intersymbol interference (ISI) jitter caused by signal attenuation through a passive medium like PCB traces and cables. Because the TUSB1044 has four independent inputs, it can be optimized to correct ISI on all those seven inputs through 16 different equalization choices. Placing the TUSB1044 between a USB3.1 Host/DisplayPort 2.1 GPU and a USB3.1 Type-C receptacle can correct signal integrity issues resulting in a more robust system.
