Standby mode is entered whenever a wake-up event occurs through LIN bus or the WAKE pin while the device is in sleep mode. In standby mode, the LIN bus responder termination circuit, 45 kΩ, is on. When a wake-up event occurs and the TLIN2021-Q1 enters standby mode the RXD pin is driven low signaling the wake-up event to the LIN controller.
The TLIN2021-Q1 exits standby mode and transitions to normal mode when the EN pin is set high for longer than tMODE_CHANGE where the normal LIN transmitter and receiver are fully operational and bi-directional communication is possible.
