When the CAN transceiver is in standby mode or sleep mode the CAN bias circuit is switched off and the transceiver moves to the autonomous inactive state. In the autonomous inactive state the CAN pins are biased to GND. When a valid wake-up event occurs the CAN bus is biased to 2.5 V. If the controller does not transition the TCAN1162x-Q1 into normal mode before the tSILENCE timer expires, then the CAN biasing circuit is again switched off and the CAN pins are biased to ground.
