It is possible to increase CZC1 capacitor from 10pF to 30 pF, or even 100 pF to reduce the impedance of the ZCD/CS pin and make its resistive capacitive pickup better. In this case, the customer must also increase the CZC2 capacitor by the same factor so that CZC2 / CZC1 = RZC1 / RZC2. Since the CZC1 capacitor does have some loss impact especially at high line operation, TI recommends the CZC1 be no higher than 100 pF. For CZC1 and CZC2, see Figure 2-1.
