8.1 Application Information

A typical application consists of a host microcontroller as the SDQ master and the bq26100 device as the SDQ slave. The SDQ I/O on the bq26100 device is an open-drain pin and the SDQ master should also be configured as open-drain to allow a pullup resistor to be connected to a voltage that is between 2.5 V and 5.0 V.
