SLUUBT5C November 2018 – June 2021 BQ40Z80
The BQ40Z80 device can exit SLEEP mode if enabled by the presence of a voltage across SRP and SRN. The voltage threshold needed for the device to wake from SLEEP mode is programmed in Power:Wake Comparator. This allows the gauge to wake up quickly in response to a higher current detection. Otherwise, the gauge only wakes up every Sleep Current Time to detect if |Current()| is > Sleep Current.
