4.6 Switching Between I2C and HDQ Modes

Texas Instruments ships the BQ34Z100-R2 device in I2C mode (factory default); however, this mode can be changed to HDQ mode if needed.

Note:

To make changes in the data flash, the device must be in I2C mode.
