VIO serves as the digital pull-up rail for the EVM. Various rails can be selected as the rail intended for as the supply for this rail. J14 allows simple changing between Buck, Buck-Boost, or the SYS rail. An external LDO can be used by populating R7, though J14 should be disconnected at this point. This external LDO input rail can be selected via the J3 header.
