7.3.2 Soft Start

After the device has been enabled with EN high, it initializes and powers up the internal circuits, which occurs during the regulator start-up delay time, tStartup_delay. After tStartup_delay expires, the internal soft-start circuitry ramps up the output voltage within the soft-start time, tss. See Figure 7-1.

The start-up delay time, tStartup_delay, varies depending on the selected VSEL value. tStartup_delay is shortest with VSEL = 0 and longest with VSEL = 16. See Figure 8-42 to Figure 8-46.
