Power Supply Recommendations

The devices are designed to operate from an input voltage supply range between 2.7 V and 16 V. If you are using an input voltage below 4.0 V, the VCC pin requires external bias. Proper bypassing of input supplies (VIN) and internal LDO (VCC) is also critical for noise performance, as is PCB layout and grounding scheme. See the recommendations in Section 7.4.
