Soft Start

After the device has been enabled with EN high, the device initializes and powers up the internal circuits. This action occurs during the regulator start-up delay time, tStartup_delay. After tStartup_delay expires, the internal soft-start circuitry ramps up the output voltage within the soft-start time, tss. See Figure 7-1.

The start-up delay time, tStartup_delay, varies depending on the selected VSET value. The start-up delay is shortest with VSET = 0 and longest with VSET = 16.
