Abstract

The LMR54450QEVM evaluation module (EVM) is designed to help customers evaluate the performance of the LMR54450-Q1 non-synchronous step-down converter. The EVM contains one LMR54450-Q1 device that is capable of delivering 5-V output voltage and up to 5-A load current at a nominal switching frequency internally set to 400 kHz. Configured to operate with input supply voltage ranging from 5.5-V to 36-V, the EVM provides multiple power connectors and test points for measuring efficiency, crossover frequency, phase margin, power good, and enable. The EVM also provides a layout example optimized for EMI and thermal performance. This user's guide includes the following:
