Background

The LMR54450-Q1 is a high-output-current PWM converter that integrates a low-resistance, high-side N-channel MOSFET. Integrated features include a high-performance error amplifier that provides tight voltage regulation accuracy under transient conditions, an undervoltage-lockout circuit to prevent start-up until the input voltage reaches 5.5-V, and an internally set soft-start circuit to limit inrush currents. The LMR54450-Q1 implements voltage-mode control. Using the EN pin, shutdown supply current is reduced to 13 μA typically. Other features include an active-high enable, overcurrent limiting, overvoltage protection, and thermal shutdown. The feedback loop is internally compensated to reduce design complexity and external component count. For more details, please visit the LMR54450-Q1 data sheet.

The pin configuration of the LMR54450-Q1 is shown in Figure 1-1.
