3.3 Mode Selection

The user can also select the type of EVM that is to be tested with the TSW14xx EVM by clicking on the “Switch Device” button located at the top right corner of the GUI as shown in Figure 3-25.

The mode selected determines the main screen format. When ADC is selected, the GUI is setup for displaying ADC data capture results. If DAC is selected, the GUI setups controls to load a test pattern, create a test pattern, and display the graphical representation of the test pattern to be sent to a DAC EVM once the file has been read by the GUI.
