8.2.2.6 CBOOT

The LM636x5-Q1 requires a bootstrap capacitor to be connected between the BOOT pin and the SW pin. This capacitor stores energy that is used to supply the gate drivers for the power MOSFETs. A high-quality ceramic capacitor of 220 nF and at least 16 V is required.
