Keys stored in the EEPROM will remain unless the device goes through an “unlock” procedure, or they are explicitly erased by an application that runs from reset. The project eeprom_erase erases the keys when run by Code Composer Studio™ after a system reset. This project is simply an aid for use during the boot loader development to clear any loaded keys from EEPROM without needing to go through the more tedious device unlock process.
