EtherCAT

The F28P65x LaunchPad features two Ethernet PHY and two RJ45 connectors to enable EtherCAT communication capabilities. The DP83826 10/100-Mbps single-port physical layer transceiver used on the LaunchPad offers low and deterministic latency. In additional, the PHY also offers fixed phase between XI and TX_CLK and is low-power. These features, along with robust EMI/EMC performance, make DP83826E/I an excellent choice for real-time applications. For more details, see the DP83826 Deterministic, Low-Latency, Low-Power, 10/100 Mbps, Industrial Ethernet PHY.
