3.3.8 EtherCAT Slave Controller (ESC) Module Reset Output

You can configure the EtherCAT Slave Controller (ESC) module to drive the XRS pin low whenever the ESC module receives a reset. This is done by setting the DEVICE_RESET_EN bit to 1 in the ESCSS_RESET_DEST_CONFIG register of the ESC module (EtherCAT subsystem). By default, this is not enabled. After an ECAT_RESET_OUT reset, the ECAT_RESET_OUT bit in the RESC register is set. Software can read this bit to know the cause of reset and clear the status by writing a 1 into the corresponding bit in the RESCCLR register.
