Figure 8-3 shows that the MCU voltage domain contains the CPU system divided into multiple power domains. MCU_VD also includes always-on logic not encapsulated in a power domain, which is powered whenever the MCU_VD voltage regulator is on. The voltage regulator will be on and MCU_AON will be powered when the CC13x2 and CC26x2 device platform is not in shutdown or reset mode. Figure 8-3 shows this logic as MCU_AON.
MCU_VD is powered up by any enabled wake-up source.
Requirements to power off MCU_VD are found in the register description of PRCM:VDCTL.MCU_VD (see Section 8.8.2).
