The AUX module operates internally at either the SCE clock rate or at the Bus clock rate. The System CPU and µDMA always accesses the AUX modules at the Bus clock rate. As listed in Table 20-1 , the AUX Bus clock rate can be higher than the SCE clock rate under two conditions:
In both cases, the bus clock rate equals 24 MHz. Table 20-2 lists the operational clock rates for the various AUX modules.
To ensure correct timing, the modules and clocked resources must operate at the SCE clock rate if possible, since the bus clock rate can change when the MCU power mode changes. This is especially important for the Timer01 peripheral.
