25.4.1.1 System CPU Deep-Sleep Mode

If the system bus is turned off, the I2S DMA loses access to RAM and flash.

The system bus is turned off if all of the following conditions are true:

  • PRCM:PDCTL1.CPU_ON = 0
  • PRCM:PDCTL1.VIMS_MODE = 0
  • PRCM:SECDMACLKGDS.DMA_CLK_EN = 0
  • PRCM:SECDMACLKGDS.CRYPTO_CLK_EN = 0
  • RFCORE does not request access to BUS.
  • System CPU is in deep-sleep mode.

For lowest current consumption, set PRCM:SECDMACLKGDS.DMA_CLK_EN = 1 (loaded with PRCM:CLKLOADCTL) to keep the system bus enabled for the I2S DMA.
