32 kHz RC Oscillator (LFOSC)

Measured on the LP-EM-CC2745R10-Q1 reference design with Tc = 25 °C, VDDS = 3.0 V, unless otherwise noted.
MIN TYP MAX UNIT
Calibrated frequency 32.768 (1) kHz
Clock accuracy Sleep clock accuracy when using LFOSC (3) +/-500 (2) ppm
When using LFOSC as source for the low frequency system clock (LFCLK), the accuracy of the LFCLK-derived Real Time Clock (RTC) can be improved by measuring LFOSC relative to HFXT and compensating for the RTC tick speed. This functionality is available through the TI-provided Power driver.
Actual value is lower than +/-500ppm prescribed by Bluetooth LE sleep clock accuracy specification.
Suitable for crystal-less operation of both Bluetooth LE peripheral and central roles with periodic RTC calibration using device HW and SW that is configured through the TI SysConfig tool. For further guidance, please reach out to Texas Instruments for support.
