The single-lead ECG measurement can be done using either two electrodes or three electrodes. The ECG signal is acquired as the differential signal between the right-arm and left-arm electrodes. The RLD electrode is used to set the bias on the body. The filtering for the signal can be first order or second order (based on frequency roll-off requirement). The electrode-to-skin contact impedance can be modeled as a parallel R-C circuit comprising of 620kΩ and 4700 pF.
