2.3.6.1 Programming Output Voltage

The output voltage is programmed to 4.2 V using Equation 3, where VREF = 1.0 V. For best accuracy, the current following through R36 should be 100 times larger than the FB pin leakage current.

Because VOUT = 4.2 V and R36 = 100 kΩ, R35 = 320 kΩ. TI recommends high-accuracy resistors for better output voltage accuracy. The TIDA-01580 device uses both resistors with 0.5% tolerance.
