About the Author

PREETI UDAPUDI: Preeti Udapudi joined Texas Instruments in 2020 and is currently working as a System Engineer in Factory Automation and Control Team at Texas Instruments in Freising. She supports HMI and USB Type-C related topics in Factory Automation and Control Systems. In 2022, Preeti graduated with a Master's degree in Automotive Software Engineering from the Technical University of Chemnitz, Germany.

THOMAS MAUER: Thomas Mauer is a System Engineer in the Factory Automation and Control Team at Texas Instruments Freising. He is responsible for developing reference design solutions for the industrial segment. Thomas brings his extensive experience in industrial communications like Industrial Ethernet and fieldbuses and industrial applications to this role. Thomas earned his degree in Electrical Engineering (Dipl. Ing. (FH)) at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, Germany.

CHIH-WEI (ROY) HSU: Chih-Wei (Roy) Hsu joined Texas Instruments in 2016 and is now working as a Field Applications Engineer for the Industrial Team in Texas Instruments, Taiwan. He supports various Industrial customers in Taiwan and specializes in USB Type-C PD Controllers and High-Speed Signal Conditioning. Chih-Wei received his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing-Hua University, Hsinchu City, Taiwan in 2016.
