4.4.5 PWM Overcurrent

The purpose of this test is to show the behavior of the TIDA-020065 under various current spikes. For a 20A load with I2t constant of 340A2s and Inom of 15A, a shutdown is expected in 1.94s. Nonetheless, no I2t shutdown occurs for the various overcurrent periods which span 1.65s. The period of the PWM load current is 3.3s.
