2.3.2 DC-Link Capacitor

DC-link capacitor voltage ripple frequency is double the line frequency. The DC-link capacitor is responsible for removal of this voltage ripple to provide a stable DC-link voltage. The required DC-link capacitance can be calculated as shown in Equation 20.

  • Vripple is the peak to peak voltage ripple
